How Do I fit It All In

No seriously how do I get it all done in a day? This must be the question I get asked the most from other moms.

The answer, I don’t! I have aligned my life figured out what is important to me and made sure I have time for those things. So, do I do my own washing and ironing? No, I don’t. I am lucky enough to have an amazing support system in place so that I don’t get to that point where I am just trying to do everything. I honestly feel that if you try do everything, chances are you won’t be doing anything properly.

What Matters Most

The two most important aspects of my life are:

  1. My family
  2. My money-making activities.

My family and especially my immediate family will always be my priority, but we need money to live and for me to look after that family. I am also not shy to say that having a career is important to me too.

So, How Do I Deal With It All?

Exercise is very important to me, and I try to fit it in 4 times a week. I am a happier person when I exercise. The science says it all. Exercise reduces the level of cortisol and adrenaline in our bodies, those dreaded stress hormones that create havoc in our body.

I also try my hardest to keep a regular date night with my hubby. This special time for conversation and hand holding keeps me going another week. Sometimes it is just having a quick coffee together.  It is such a sacred time for me.

Weekends are all about my kiddies! My son is very sporty, and daughter is trying so hard to catch up. We love being outdoors, playing golf, riding bikes and just exploring outside.

No, I am not the perfect mom or wife, but most of the time I am a happy and fulfilled one.
